The source of this 10m Bambarabotuwa Ella Fall is the Weweldola, which springs between the Bambarabotuwaugala mountains (1066m) and the Aluthwela Wisahena mountains (1264m). It is to be found in Bambarabotuwa in the Ratnapura District, 300m from Bambarabotuwa Christian Church, along a footpath below the nearby tea factory.
According to Eberhard Kautzsch in his “A guide to waterfalls of Sri Lanka”, this waterfall can be seen well from the Christian Church built on a hill at Bambarabotuwa.

Travel Directions to Bambarabotuwa Ella Falls
Access to the waterfall is said to be from Batewala Road. Unfortunately, no one in the area seems to have heard of the Bambarabotuwa Falls or the Wewel Ella Falls in this area.
