Loading...A rock plain on the Bogahalanda village near Lahugala Magul Maha Viharaya North West of Yalpotha Reservoir has been declared a protected archaeological site by the Government with the Gazette issued on 10th October 2014, and describes the location as follows;
“Rock plain with ancient chisel holing located towards North West to the Yalpotha tank (06º86944′ N and 081º73777′ E) belonging to Bogahalanda village in Pansalgoda PP 07 Grama Niladari Division in the Divisional Secretary’s Division, Lahugala in Ampara District in Eastern Province.”
