Preserved ruins of buildings at the Detiyamulla Sri Jettatissa Rajamaha Viharaya

Sri Jettatissa Rajamaha Viharaya in Detiyamulla lies about 4.5 km from the ancient kingdom of Panduwasnuwara. Traveling 1.5 km past the Panduwasnuwara brings you to the Kolamunu Oya Junction. Taking the left turn on to Mandapola Road and travling a further 2.2 km will bring you to Sri Sumana Nahimi Mawatha. The temple lies 700 meters down this road.

A large temple complex now reduced to granite pillar stumps and foundations has been preserved at this temple. Number of such buildings and few artifacts of the by gone era can be seen at this temple.
