Come via Talawakelle to Diagama Estate in Dayagama to reach the Aggra Falls. It is incipient from Horton plains. A dam at in its upper reach provides water for a Hydro power station. The multi Necklace waterfall cascades to a shallow pool and flows to Agra River and finally to the island’s largest River Mahaweli. The road is Motorable.
Agra Upa Falls too lies very close to this waterfall
Agra Falls lies on the old road to Agarapatha, Dayagama road to Horton Plains which is now closed at the boundary of the Horton Plains. You can hike the rest of the way and reach the visitor centre of Horton Plains.
Drive up to the point where the road is closed at the Horton Plains border From here walk about 100 meters to the left through the Dayagama estate tea plantation. The fall can be seen at some distance.
Also, you can hike from the Horton Plains Visitor Center along the closed motorway for approximately 8.5 km to reach this point.
