Loading...In ancient Sri Lanka Vakaneri was called “Vahaneriya”. In the Vakaneri colony near Valachchenai is an ancient site with a pilfered dagoba and the remains of three structures. There are also the remains of a pond and a stone wall around it.
The site is unlisted and probably neglected. The current status of these ruins is unknown. The exact location of these ruins is also unknown. Any further information on these ruins is welcome.
