Bogahawaththa Ambalama (Bogahawatta Ambalama) is an ancient wayside rest in Kirindiwela lying close the the current police station. The ambalama is rectangular in shape and built on 10 granite pillars. The roof is tiled with clay calicut tiles (rata ulu) which is probably a new addition during a recent renovations. This ambalama was declared as an protected monument in 2009.
To reach the ambalama take the Kirindiwela Road from Weliweriya and travel for 12 kilometers (1 km before the Kirindiwela end) to find the Ambalama right next to the road.
