The Chandrasara Forest Hermitage is situated in the remote village of Halmillewa. This village can be reached from the Thalawa – Kekirawa Road. After traveling about 10km from Talawa towards Kekirawa you will come to a small junction called Punchi Kulama. Turn right from here and this road will lead to the Halmillewa.

Traveling Directions to Halmillewa Chandrasara Forest Hermitage
Travel approximately 10 km from Talawa towards Kekirawa and you will come to a small town called Punchi Kulama. Turn right and take the small gravel road to reach the Hermitage.
