This 20m Delwala Ella fall is found in the area known as Delawala in the Ratnapura District. Away from the popular roads, this waterfall is rarely visited thus little is known outside the surrounding villages.
To reach the Delwala waterfall you need to travel up to the Pebotuwa junction on the Karawita – Kalawana Road (B421). From the Pebotuwa junction, take the by-road toward Delwala which runs along a stream (Hangamu Oya ? / Delwala Ganga ?).
The waterfall can be seen on the left of the above stream after travelling approximately 2 km on this road. The waterfall lies inside a tea estate. and need to enter the estate to reach it. two separate paths through tea bushes from the gravel road will take you to the top and the bottom of the fall.
The pool above the waterfall is said to be suitable for bathing.
