Located at the foot of Dorapora Hill in Aliyaodai, this Anuradhapura-period site consists of the remains of a building constructed with short, roughly finished stone pillars. Several pillars remain standing in their original positions alongside fallen ones.

Situated in a forest valley between Dorapera and Aliyaodai hills, this site consists of a single 1.5-meter-high stone pillar measuring 27×27 cm. Featuring a topknot-style (kudumbi) top with no other surrounding surface ruins, its historical purpose remains unknown, pending sub-surface investigation.

Situated on the Nahamcholai Mountain Range, this Early Anuradhapura-period Buddhist monastery comprises two stupa mounds, six heavily looted building platforms built with rough stones, a carved pillar fragment, and two ponds (one natural, one stone-dammed) southeast of the Miyankulam Reservoir.

Located in Uththuwattai village, this Anuradhapura-period settlement site features six stone pillars, two of which have fallen and one that leans. Accompanied by ancient bricks and earthenware pottery fragments, the architectural remains reflect construction styles characteristic of the Anuradhapura era.

Situated in a forest reserve west of Toppigala (Kudumbimalai) Rock, this Anuradhapura-period Buddhist shrine features a 4-meter stupa mound severely damaged by illicit digging. Artifacts include scattered bricks, tiles, pottery, pillar fragments, a broken yantragala, and foundation stones from an adjacent building.

Rising 534 meters above sea level, Toppigala (Kudumbimalai) features Anuradhapura-period Buddhist ruins, including a 1st-century CE stupa mound. Historically significant as the LTTE’s final Eastern stronghold captured in 2007, the site now hosts the Toppigala Heritage Park commemorating fallen soldiers.

Located at the foot of Thoppigala (Kudumbimalai) Hill, this Anuradhapura-period Buddhist complex features a damaged stupa mound, building foundations, standing pillars, and a drip-ledge cave. Despite agricultural damage, scattered pillar bases, bricks, tile fragments, and a siripatulgala inside a nearby kovil confirm its historical significance.

Located in the forest near Adikandukulama Reservoir, this Anuradhapura-period south-facing cave features a 7-meter drip ledge (katarama), measuring 3 meters high and 2.5 meters deep. Although damaged by illegal digging, the site reveals remains of an internal brick structure within the rock outcrop.

Located at the foot of Kudumbimalai Hill near Adikandukulama Tank, this site contains Maradanmaduwa–Tabbowa culture terracotta artifacts scattered by agricultural development. Findings include soot-covered clay pipes, probable kilns, and broken figurines representing cobras (nāga), human male and female forms, and birds.

Located in a Kudumbimalai paddy field, this ancient site consists of a 1.41-meter square structure with four short stone pillars in their original context. Though destroyed with no specific period determined, several similar pillars remain scattered across the surrounding agricultural land.

Located near Kudumbimalai paddy field, this Anuradhapura-period site features a 5×5 meter square building with 11 original stone pillars arranged in rows. The ruins also contain an entrance threshold slab with joint mortises, alongside scattered bricks and stone chips.

Located in Mavaddavan village, these Anuradhapura-period ruins cover a 10×10 meter area. The site contains stone pillars, bricks, and tile fragments. Though destroyed by treasure hunters and of uncertain exact function, the archaeological remains confirm the expansion of ancient human settlement in the region.

Located below the eastern bund of Mirankadawai Reservoir, this late Anuradhapura-period archaeological site contains five original stone pillars alongside scattered bricks and tiles. Damaged by agriculture and currently used as a cattle shed, the site has been destroyed by farming activities.

Located in Kudumbimalai, this Anuradhapura-period Buddhist monastery site sits on elevated ground by the Mirankadawai paddy field. Land development has completely destroyed the structures, displacing stone pillars, bricks, and architectural components into secondary context, with artifacts scattered across nearby fields.

Spanning 110 m × 100 m on a rocky hill, this Early Anuradhapura-period Buddhist monastery contains ruins of a stupa, pillars, circular structures, terrace walls, and a pond. Severe damage by treasure hunters has scattered artifacts, including a Siripatula, Sandakadapahana, and Chattragala fragments.

Located at the summit of Kal-Urumalai hillock in Miyankulama, this site contains ruins of three Early Anuradhapura-period structures positioned roughly 10 meters apart. The mound-like monuments and scattered stone slabs have been severely damaged by treasure hunters, making their original function uncertain.

Located 500 meters west of Kal-Urumalai rock in Miyankulama, this site features an Anuradhapura-period stupa mound with remains of a southern staircase. Nearby lies a stone-paved pethmaga (pathway), indicating the former presence of a small Buddhist monastery.

Located near the Lawwada Wewa spillway in Pallaththuchenai, this site features Anuradhapura-period building remains with seven standing and eight fallen stone pillars. The area contains abundant pottery sherds, though recent cultivation has damaged the ancient structures.

Located on Uraodemalai hillock, this cave complex features Anuradhapura-period drip-ledged caves, including a double cave and canopy socket holes. The site contains a vandalized 12-pillar building, scattered bricks, a pond with stone steps, and a foot-washing stone.
