Galagama Ella Falls (Kathi Gahana Ella) waterfall lies few kilometers down the Bakers Falls on the Belihul Oya stream. This is accessible through Horton Plains route or on a tougher hike from Belihuloya.
The 30m Gal Oruwa Ella Falls’s catchments are the aquifers of Sinharaja Forest. The stream flows between two boulders measuring 30m high 2m wide & 40m in lengths.
The Fairlawn Fall is 24km from Dikoya. Travel 11km from Norwood to Alukotte or 8km from Maskeliya to Alukotte. From Alukotte, it is a 4km trek along the banks of the Maskeli Oya Reservoir to Miriyakotte, where the fall is situated.
This is a small but beautiful cascade in the Suriyakanda Area. The waterfall lies about 7½ km from Suriyakanda Town and about 29 km from Ambilipitiya in the area known as Wijeriya
Ellepola Ella Fall is situated in Ellepola village, Balangoda, in the Ratnapura District. It is on the Colombo – Ratnapura road and can be viewed from the school in the Ellapoloa Welange Division.
The Ella Uda Ella Falls is located in the Colombo District, Avissawella Electorate at Hanwella. To reach it, take the Hanwella road and turn off near the Thummodara Old Bridge, then continue for a further 10km to the Illuovita area.
Ellegedara Ella (also known as the Thepulangoda Ella) is 4 meter high waterfall along the Ratnapura Awissawella road, about 8 kms away from Ratnaputa.
Ellatota Ella (Ellathota Ella) is waterfall unknown to many lying close the the city of Bandarawela. This is rarely visited by a casual traveler.
The 60m high Diyavini Ella Fall forms part of a tributary of the Diyavini River, which is in a jungle 8km east of Balangoda, south of Vikiliya.
Located on the Elgin Estate at an altitude of 1500m, Elgin Estate Waterfall Cluster is 18km from the city of Nuwara Eliya. On the top of the cluster is the 5 meter high Upper Elgin Fall .
Traveling by train from Talawakelle to Badulla the 24m high Elgin Front Falls could be observed in the side where the station is located. However the fall itself is not pellucid from the rail track.
The 25m-high Elgin falls shares its name with a Scottish city and a tea estate. It is situated on a tributary of the Dambagastalawa River, the source of which is in the Horton Plains.
The first 10m Elgin Estate Fall – II in the Elgin Estate seen cascading from a mountain to the right of the road. From Talawakelle there is a bus to the site of the fall. From here, a 1.5km trek through difficult track leads to the fall.
Dumpus Ella Fall is a small but enchanting waterfall situated in Gilimale area in Ratnapura District. To access the waterfall, travel along Gilimale – Siripagama road.
The area in which the Dummala Ella Fall was earlier called Katuhena and that the former name of the stream was Thattibathgoda Ela. King Walagamba is stated to have sought refuge in the nearby forests after being defeated in a battle. The king is said to have washed his eating vessel (Thatti) in this stream and on Poya days a golden Thatti is said to be seen floating on this stream.
At the foot of the 20m-high Dumbara Ella Falls there is a cave that can accommodate up to eight people. The fall is situated in the Kalupahana area, Matale District (Laggala Divisional Secretariat).
Dotulu Ella Fall is the first waterfall in the Eli Hatha Waterfall Chain. The second fall is called Ran Dotulu Ella. The balance 5 waterfalls are called respectively by their number. This chain of waterfalls is created by a series of drops in the Naya Ganga (river) in the western side of the Sri Pada Reserve.
This 53m-high Dodan Ella Fall cascades in two sections. At either side of the upper segment there are two elephant trunk-shaped stone arches. The fall’s source is the Devipahala Ela Canal, which flows through Demalegama village before pouring off a rock ledge.
The source of the 30m-high Dodam Gallena Ella Fall springs from the Dangadova Mountain and flows via Bullathgama to the Walaweganga River.
