Hidden Archaeological Ruins of Girandurukotte (ගිරාඳුරුකෝට්ටේ සැඟවුණු බොදු නටබුන්)
Hidden behind the Girandurukotte Central Collage, lies a conserved remains of a small aramic complex hidden from anybody’s view. The stupa is built on a square platform enclosed by a brick wall. 3 brick steps are found on one side to enter in to the platform. These steps are enclosed within a pair of exquisitely carved balustrades (Korawak Gal) representing the mythical Makara at the top.
