Gammana Bodhirukkarama Purana Viharaya is an ancient Buddhist temple with a Tampita Viharaya belonging to the Kandyan era. The temple lies about 2 km off Pothuhera lying between Polgahawela and Kurunegala.

The Tampita Viharaya at the Inguruwaththa Purana Viharaya is built on 2 feet 4 inches high 8 granite stumps during the era of king Kirthi Sri Rajasinghe (1747 – 1781). . A circumambulating path is built around the image house protected by a half height wall.

Digampitiya Purana Tampita Viharaya is an ancient temple built during the Kandyan Era and lies about 7 km away from the Kurunegala town. The Tampita Viharaya at the Digampitiya Purana Viharaya was declared as an protected archaeological site in 2002.

Galgamuwa Tampitagoda Purana Viharaya is an ancient temple lying in the Alawwa Divisional Secretary’s Division in Galgamuwa, Maharachchimulla. The temple lie about 5 km off Matiyagane between Dambadeniya and Narammala.

Bulupitiya Sri Sugatharama Purana Viharaya lies in the village of Bulupitya in Uhumiya (Uhumeeya) on the Narammala – Kurunegala road. This temple has been built during the Kandyan Kingdom.

Bulnewa Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient temple lying between Polpithigama and Bulnewa in an arid area, 54 kms from Kurunegala. The Tampita Viharaya at this temple has been declared as an protected site by the government.

Kolambalamulla Bodhirukkharama Purana Pothgul Viharaya located in Talawattegedara between Polgahawela and Pothuhera hides a Tampita Viharaya built during the Kandyan era.
