Due to the height of the tampita viharaya, a second roof starting from the tampita viharaya has been extended outwards from all four sides creating a lower floor for the structure. This area is currently being used to conduct Sunday school classes.
The inner sanctum of the image house is filled with Buddha Statues. The main statue is a seated Buddha statue at the back wall. The robe of the buddha is painted in red.
