Vallahagoda Devalaya at Gampola – වල්ලහගොඩ දේවාලය

Gampola Vallahagoda Devalaya is a Buddhist cum deistic shrine situated at Mariyawattha on the road from Gampola to Nawalapitiya in front of Niyamgampaya Viharaya. The original name has been “Walvasgoda”.
The Devalaya is dedicated to deity Skanda ( Kataragama) built by Buwanekabahu IV (1341-1351) of Gampola Kingdom. The viharaya has stupa with a roof, a beautiful work in wood to captivate viewer.
