The Horton Plains National Park is well known for its Worlds End Trail and the Baker’s Falls. On this trail you will also find another viewpoint called Mini Worlds End. But a third viewpoint called Poor Man’s World End for whatever reason exists on the Ohiya Hortain Plains Road.
Lying a few minutes of walk from the Gihihiriya Wildlife Bungalow (also known as the Anderson Bungalow), this viewpoint has been made out of bounds with a fence blocking the footpath since a few years ago. An offender could face a Rs 10,000 fine for trespassing.
