Horton Plains National Park is best known for the World’s End Trail and Baker’s Falls. Along this main route lies the well-known Mini World’s End viewpoint. However, a lesser-known third viewpoint, called Poor Man’s World End, is located off the Ohiya–Horton Plains Road.
This viewpoint is only a few minutes’ walk from the Gihihiriya Wildlife Bungalow, also known as the Anderson Bungalow. For several years now, access has been prohibited, with a fence blocking the footpath. Trespassing beyond this point can result in a fine of Rs. 10,000.
