Blackwood Falls consists of 2 parts, upper and lower and lies on the Beragala to Wellawaya Road en route to Diyaluma Falls. This waterfall is also known as Nissansala Ella or Galkanda Ella among the villagers in the area and is also known as Diya Ne Ella.

The wide upper segment falls in two segments and flows below the road under the bridge. Then the water falls straight down as the last part. Blackwood Falls lies on both sides of the road is 5.5 km from Beragala and 17.5 km from Diyaluma Falls

This waterfall is not listed in the LCWF.
