The road to Nuwara Eliya from Gampola is dotted with number of waterfalls specially between Pusselawa and Ramboda. S0me of the waterfall have names, some don’t and some waterfalls are seasonal.
The people living around these areas also adds to confusion by calling the same waterfall by different names.
According to LCWF ;
“Between Pusselawa and Ramboda there are several waterfalls, all of which are less than 30m in height. Helboda Ella Falls, however, is 60m high but only flows when it rains. It is located near the 28th and 29th mileposts at the Pusselawa Halboda Estate.”
The same waterfall is sometimes identified as the Delta Falls by some. But the people around this area identifies this as the Helboda Ella Falls and is not aware of a Delta Fall anywhere in the vicinity.
