Sri Jettatissa Rajamaha Viharaya in Detiyamulla lies about 4.5 km from the ancient Kingdom of Panduwasnuwara. Travelling 1.5 km past the Panduwasnuwara brings you to the Kolamunu Oya Junction. Taking the left turn onto Mandapola Road and travelling a further 2.2 km will bring you to Sri Sumana Nahimi Mawatha. The temple lies 700 meters down this road.
A large temple complex now reduced to granite pillar stumps and foundations has been preserved at this temple. Several such buildings and a few artefacts of the bygone era can be seen at this temple.
