Kahanawita Ella is a popular waterfall in Gomala Oya lying on the Dehiowita – Deraniyagala road 3.5 km away from Dehiowita.

Though popular bathing place this was reported to have taken 4 lives in 2011 due to sudden rise of water in the fall.
