This 12 meter Mount Vernon Fall lies in Dimbulla, close to Thalawakele on the Nawalapitiya – Dimbulla Road. Well away from the the main road, the waterfall is hidden to the casual traveler. You need to walk through the tea estate and some estate worker houses to reach the fall.
Further down the stream, you will come across another waterfall called Poonkanda Falls.
