Kumbukkadawala Nilgiri Rajamaha Viharaya is an ancient cave temple complex in the Polpithigama Divisional Secretariat of Kurunegala District .
As with many cave temples in this area, this temple has been renovated during the Kandyan era thus temple shows architectural characteristics of Kandyan Era. The ancient Stupa, Bodhighara (the protective wall surround the Bodhi tree) and the image house built as a cave temple has been declared as protected monuments by the department of Archaeology.
