A 12 meter high waterfall called Windy Corner Falls lies in the cold climate of Blackpool in Nuwara Eliya. Blackpool lies just 3 kilometers off Nuwara Eliya Town on the road to Nanu Oya.
The waterfall can be found near the road after travelling about 250 meters from the Blackpool Junction towards Nanu Oya. An easy landmark is the Hotel Silver Falls which lies almost on the opposite of the waterfall. Coming from Nanuoya, the Windy Corner Fall lies about 4.5 kms from the town.
The waterfall is not visible from the main road and relatively unknown by people in Nuwara Eliya. To view this waterfall from the top you would need to walk to the very edge of the road and view of through the bushes. There is no path to go to the bottom of the fall.
