Uppuveli Beach
When it comes to great beaches, you will be spoiled for choice along the east coast of Sri Lanka. Uppluweli Beach and Nilaveli Beach are two of the best. Traveling about 5 km to the north from Trincomalee town lies Uppuveli Beach which is a popular tourist destination with number of good beach hotels. Still unspoilt and picture clean.
Nilaveli Beach
11 kilometers north from the Tricomalee town lies Nilaveli Beach, the most famous of Tricomalee Beaches with best star class hotels on a kilometer stretch of unspoiled white sandy beach. Access to Pigeons Island Corrals is through this beach.
Marble Beach
Lying inside the Koddiar Bay (Trincomalee Bay) is a good beach for peaceful bath. The Marble Beach Resort, and air force run resort lies at the beach.
