Wewassa Ella Falls – by Dr Ashan Geeganage

Height :	22 meters
District :	Badulla

Wewessa Ella fall is 22m in height and its source is a tributary of the Bathulu Oya (Bathulu River). The waterfall only flows during rainy season. The forest is being denuded and combined with colonization and illegal logging, has put the fall in danger of drying up.

The fall can be found at the 5th milepost on the Badulla highway, Badulla district.
