Nagadowa Ella Fall is another waterfall located off the beaten track of the popular Bambarakanda Falls. The only access to the waterfall is by foot and you can also see the Uduwara fall just above this fall. The fall breaks into several mini-falls starting from the top of the mountain range.
The LCWF lists this fall as an 8-meter fall but considering the full height from the mountain top, this waterfall is a lot taller than 8 meters, possibly around 80 meters. 80m may have been written as 8 meters.
The waterfall is reached by foot from the road leading to the Bambarakanda Falls. Go past the Bamabarakanda Falls on the Kalupahana – Ohiya road and take the trekking path towards the falls.
From Kalupahana take the road to Ohiya through Bambarakanda Falls. Travel time from Kalupahana is approx 30–40 mins due to road conditions.
