Towards the site of Sungawila Pulayadipattiya Archaeological Ruins from the main road.

The site with archaeological monuments known as Pulayadipattiya allotted by Geographical data Nos. mentioned below in wildlife conservation zone of Somawathie in Sungawila Village in the Grama Niladhari Division No. 137 of Sungawila in Lankapura Divisional Secretary’s Division in Polonnaruwa District, North Central Province was declared as an archaeological is monument in 1^st February 2023.

This site lies 7.9km from Sungawila on the road to Somawathi Rajamaha Viharaya. The location is about 180 meters in to the elephant infested jungles of Somawathiya from the road.
