Uduwawala Ambalama in Katugastota

Uduwawala is small town between Katuagastota and Medawala in the Kandy Distinct. A small ancient Ambalama (wayside rest)  lies on the Uduwawala Junction on the Katuagastota – Medawala road partly functioning as a Bus Stop.

The Uduwawala Ambalama is a square brick and mortar structure.  The roof is built on seven brick pillars and and 2 wooden pillars which also serves as the door frame. The brick pillars are cylindrical tapering at the top.
